This website (editpdftextonline.com) is committed to describing data handling clearly: no account is required, PDFs are held in volatile memory for the active workflow, and the application does not intentionally write them to persistent document storage.
How files are processed
Uploaded PDFs are sent to the Cloud Run backend and held in volatile application memory to parse text, render previews, and generate the edited file. They are removed after export or expire after at most about ten minutes if the workflow is abandoned.
The application does not intentionally write PDFs to a persistent document database or storage bucket, and file contents are not used for advertising or analytics. Restricted documents should still use an approved organizational workflow.
Data we do not collect
The browser editor does not require registration, a name, or an email address. The optional Agent API verifies a Google identity token temporarily. The application stores key hashes, a pseudonymous account identifier, and usage counters, not the login token.
Technical data
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures, the application or cloud infrastructure may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type (User-Agent), request time, path, and response status. Retention follows the production cloud logging configuration.
Your language preference is stored in your browser’s localStorage. It stays on your device and is never sent to the server.
Advertising and third-party services
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page views and site usage. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to process browser identifiers, device information, approximate location, and pages visited. We do not send uploaded PDF contents to Analytics.
This website may also display Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings and use Google’s ads and privacy controls.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Agent keys, quotas, and contact
Agent requests use the RenoMeasure gateway. It stores key hashes, a pseudonymous verified Google account identifier, aggregate quota counters, and short-lived file ownership records. Login tokens and PDF contents are not included in usage notifications. All PDF processing, including browser requests, is subject to a shared site-wide quota.
